We are committed to providing volunteers with a unique opportunity that can only be found working in health centers with diverse populations.
Why should you Volunteer?
Sequoia Community Health Centers makes volunteering a fun and rewarding experience. Volunteers are not only able to serve their community, but are also able to gain valuable exposure to the medical field through participating in one of our five volunteer positions:
• Reach Out and Read Volunteer Reader
• Reach Out and Read Clerical Volunteer
• Health Center Greeter
• Health Care for the Homeless and Migrant Outreach Services Volunteer
• Health Center Clerical Volunteer
While Sequoia only offers these positions, it is the goal of Volunteer Services to match individuals wishing to volunteer with an assignment tailored to fit their talents and future life plans.
Who is eligible to Volunteer?
Individuals who are interested must be 15 years of age and older, and able to commit one hour per week for three (3) months. Also, a completed Sequoia Community Health Centers Volunteer Application must be submitted before a volunteer services interview can be scheduled.
