Dr. Leslie Taylor to Attend Clinic Leadership Institute

Leslie Taylor, MD, family practice physician and Assistant Medical Officer at West Fresno has been selected to be one of 25 participants in the inaugural class of the Clinic Leadership Institute. The Institute is designed for emerging leaders in California’s community clinics who demonstrate a long-term commitment to the community and a passion for preserving and enhancing the healthcare safety net.

Applicants must complete a rigorous screening and selection process. Once accepted to the Institute, they go through an 18 month part-time program to build skills in areas such as decision-making, financial management, and strategic planning. Dr. Taylor and fellow Institute participants will receive instruction from nationally renowned faculty in an academic setting through seminars designed for community clinics.

The Institute is a project of Blue Shield of California Foundation and administered by the Center for the Health Professions at University of California, San Francisco.
